Monogram Jewelry

I have a friend with a subscription to Latina Magazine and I just love flipping through it. Cultural differences really interest me and Latina Magazine is an entertaining way to get a look at what is currently popular with the Latina woman.

Monogram jewelry goes back and forth in popularity - however, it is one of those classics that never actually go out of style.

Last month Eva Longoria's love for her green gold monogram necklace was discussed in the round up of her current favorites. The monogram was designed by Kacey K and given to her by her stylist Robert Verdi. I've actually never seen green gold (I am familiar with pink, white and yellow) - so I am not sure what metal is combined with 24K gold to give it the green hue. I am going to do more research on that topic and report back.

I went to the Kacey K website and they had a vast array of different monogram styles and fonts. No prices were listed. This actually is understandable as the price of gold fluctuates daily and based upon this fact and the style of the monogram the price could vary wildly.

All orders appear to be custom made - there is no shopping cart - you just get in touch with the business and discuss specifics.

I find cutting out monograms very tedious as each letter must be started with a punch hole in the metal blank and then a saw blade is carefully inserted through the hole and used to cut out the letter from within. This is something I rarely do.
