Too Much Focus on Elite Schools

Why is it so important to be part of the "Ivy League?" Are we so focused on becoming an elitist society that we have just become desperate to have "name-brand" degrees? Is having a degree from one of these institutions really going to help you get a job? Not any more, or at least that's what the studies say.

The key is not in obtaining a name-brad credential, but in obtaining the credential from an accredited institution.
