Gmail email is an online email program by Google. Gmail notifier is the program you can use to find out when you have email on Gmail.

Most email programs only tell you that you have email or they tell you how many emails you have. Gmail notifier also tells you who the email is from and gives you a small excerpt telling you what the email is about. Online email programs don't usually even give you that much.

The notice shows up in the bottom corner of your screen so it doesn't interrupt what you are doing. Now you can browse the Net and not have to worry about whether you have an important email waiting for you or not.
