Rebel Records’ Steep Canyon Rangers just wrapped up a month that saw them performing on the 20th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards Show with Steve Martin, before continuing on his acclaimed tour which brought them to The Late Show with David Letterman and The View; the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, Carnegie Hall, the Ryman Auditorium, and other venues in cities including Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Santa Fe and Troy, N.Y.
This month, the Rangers currently grace the cover of the November issue of Bluegrass Unlimited, with a feature written by Penny Parsons.
The band released its fourth studio album for Rebel, Deep in the Shade, on Oct. 6, and it is currently at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart (issue date Oct. 31).
