Singer-songwriter Anthony Smith Plays Knoxville Hometown

Who says you can't go home again?

Country artist Anthony Smith played for a hometown crowd at Cotton Eyed Joe's in Knoxville, Tenn., on Thursday, Oct. 22, where he visiting with country radio folks, including WIVK-Knoxville Program Director Mike Hammond, along with Anthony Smith and Bill Macky of Stroudavarious Records.

About Anthony Smith

Anthony hits the road to gear up for his upcoming studio album, Sunshine, his first album after signing with Stroudavarious Records. The record was co-produced by Smith and label head and veteran hit-maker James Stroud, along with Bobby Terry lending additional production assistance. Also featured on the new album is a song Anthony recorded with the late Porter Wagoner titled Hillbilly Romeos.

Anthony’s current single, Bringin’ Back The Sunshine, is available now on iTunes and via other digital music retailers as part of The Sunshine EP and his music video for the single has been added to GAC. The video stars Derek Phillips of NBC’s Friday Night Light and Danielle Rene, who is set to appear in Terrence Malick’s upcoming film, Tree Of Life, with Sean Penn and Brad Pitt.
