Hit-Songwriter & Country Artist Bridgette Tatum Makes National-TV Debut on the Racetrack

Country music hit-maker Bridgette Tatum performed a free concert prior to the 6th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals Finals on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Knoxville (Tenn.) Raceway, but singing wasn't the only presence she had at the track.

Specifically, Tatum's image, along with the Aggressive Hydraulics logo, was featured on driver Ryan Newman’s car.

“As a little girl in my grandparent's house you'd hear two things on Sunday after church, the clankin' of Nana's pots while she was cooking and my Papa's NASCAR race competing with it all,” Tatum recalled.“He always had his pick and I would watch that one car go round and round. How could I know years later my image would be on a car on TV for my Papa to see?"

Additionally, noted Tatum, referring to her grandfather's racing picks, "Ryan Newman has become a favorite of his and I know he will be in front of the TV pulling for him and in a small way, he'll be pullin' for me, too.”

Tatum, who co-penned Jason Aldean's smash titled She's Country, currently is touring in support of her debut album, Sex, Church & Chicken, which will hit stores in early 2010. Her first single from the disc is (I Like My) Cowboys Dirty.
