Country Stars Rock St. Louis, Mo., to Raise Money for Cancer Research

Country artists Montgomery Gentry, Jamie O'Neal and Lee Roy Parnell, as well as Vanderbilt University’s Soul Incision, were among the acts that rocked the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, Mo., recently for the Country For A Cure event.

The fundraiser was presented by the St. Louis Blues Alumni Association and designed to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation's mission of supporting innovative cancer research.

"I'm always so thrilled to be a part of a T.J Martell event,” country artist O’Neal said via a Sept. 21 e-mail. “They have done so much toward raising the hopes of many for finding a cure for cancer."
