Per a June 18 e-mail from Towns, the songstress confirmed she’ll wear Silpada Designs jewelry at all upcoming activities including photo shoots, public appearances and performances throughout 2009.

“I absolutely love fashion ... and jewelry,” Towns shared via e-mail. “Silpada Designs is special! It’s chic and their designs caught my attention last year when I was invited to appear as a guest in the Silpada booth at the CMA Music Festival-2008. Soon thereafter, I purchased pieces of my own … (and) asked Silpada Designs to allow me to partner with them. I’m thrilled to represent such a unique line of jewelry!”

Towns, who’s been featured in CMA Close-Up, Country Weekly, Billboard and Power Source magazines, among other publications, is a natural in the modeling world.

As for her new role with Silpada Designs, which credits itself as being the largest sterling silver jewelry home-party company in the U.S. and Canada, “Rhonda's image and personality are the perfect complement to the Silpada Jewelry line and she will make an eloquent spokesperson,” said Cori Kallenbach, director of communications for Silpada, in a recent press release.

As for her latest music news, Towns’ recently released an updated, contemporary remix of her current radio single. “Slow Rain.” The cut comes from her debut country CD, I Wanna Be Loved By You, which was produced by industry veterans Harold Shedd, Norro Wilson and Jim Cotton.
