OMG Records will release Brad Cotter's new CD, Right On Time, as an online exclusive beginning June 9, 2009. Cotter will debut the new CD at his CMA Music Festival booth, No. 709 in the Nashville Convention Center, in Music City on June 11--14.
Cotter, who was the 2004 winner of the popular Nashville Star TV show, which was--at that time--broadcast on the USA Network--has devoted the last few years to writing writing and recording the follow-up to his debut Sony Records CD, Patient Man. That CD included the hit single titled I Meant To, which was the second highest selling single of the year, according to Billboard magazine.
"The whole Nashville Star thing and subsequent CD was a great learning experience for me," Cotter said in a June 8, 2009, e-mail communication. "I'm really proud of that release. But I feel like I've truly been able to put my own personal stamp on this new recording.
"Leaving Sony and stepping out on my own has been both a humbling and exciting time of my life," he added. "We've been able to go into the studio and create the music I wanted to make. I can't wait to hear what the country music fans think about it."
The CD is available online via www.bradcotter.com and through other online music stores, including www.amazon.com.
