Hear My Cry, the new single by Brett Hill, continues to climb the Power Source Christian Country Chart, landing at No. 13 for the month.
Hill, who will release a new album, Horses & Heroes, come Oct. 1, has been busy on the road, where he’s performed at several Cowboy Churches in the Lone Star State, with stops in Georgia and Bradyville, Tenn., next on his list.
He’ll also take a detour to Nashville for this year’s Inspirational Country Music festivities heading to the University Of Georgia for a 10-day tour stop before traveling Cowtown’s renowned Stockyards. (For those unfamiliar, Cowtown is the nickname for Fort Worth, Texas.)
As for the upcoming Horses & Heroes, the album reportedly is “in the can,” as the saying goes, and features songs that speak of real "American family heroes," including a track about a man who teaches his son to work to feed his family and to turn to the Bible for help.
Another song on the record focuses on the story a grandfather who shares time with his grandson, letting him drive his Model-T. Grandpa's time spent with the grandson winds up being what leads the boy to find Jesus, behind the wheel of his Grandpa's Model T.
Hill, meanwhile, will kick off his Horses & Heroes Tour, named after the album, in Birmingham, Ala., on Dec. 31. However, for more info, from show dates to music samples, please access www.myspace.com/bretthillsmusic or the singer’s new Web site, which may be accessed at www.bretthillsmusic.com.
