I promised that once we'd put BBC BASIC to rest for the time being, that we'd step up the pace. True to form, we are going to spend the following 4 weeks in March building a very simple CMS using PHP and MySQL.
The introduction article that you will find on the right hand side of the page (in the article list), covers how a CMS might be built using PHP and MySQL. It is a great way to get introduced to PHP and the concept of a CMS.
The idea is simple - we will learn PHP by doing; and although I'm pretty well versed in CSM, PHP and MySQL, I'm sure to learn a few things too. As always, please feel free to let me know what kind of topics you want to be covered, as well as asking questions.
Happy coding!
