The good news is there’s plenty of comedy on this month’s new DVD selections. The bad news is that it’s mainly seasons of television series, rather than comedy movies.

- The Three Stooges star in a collection of short black-and-white comedy films in order from the years 1940-1942. This is the third installment of work from one of the most famous comedy trios of all time, with more Stooges collections on the way. (Get ready for the Farrelly Brothers’ version of The Three Stooges, scheduled for theatrical release in 2009.)
