What About Brian v. Studio 60

I think I made the wrong decision about what to watch Monday nights at 10pm. I was always an avid What About Brian fan, but it's kind of sucked lately. Meanwhile, my friends are all talking about Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

How could I have chosen so unwisely? I hated the Studio 60 pilot, and I loved Brian its first season. Having worked in the entertainment industry for so long, Studio 60 seemed boringly insider to me. And I couldn't stop wondering why Josh Lyman and Chandler Bing were now working as comedy writers. Brian was escapism, and I have to admit, I just love Barry Watson, even though he badly needs a haircut. I rooted for him and Marjorie. Alas, I think Brian er...ejaculated too quickly. And they had to get rid of Marjorie so that Brian could do what Brian was supposed to do - date around. Always the single guy.

Now Studio 60 is heating up, and the only good thing I can say about Brian is that they finally made Adam likeable. I'm ashamed of myself. I usually have such great taste in shows. I loved Grey's Anatomy before it was hip, and did I not say that Men in Trees was a winner?

Sad to say, I think the future looks grim for the Brian gang. Perhaps I can catch up on Studio 60 over the summer or on Netflix.
