Logan Echolls' car

Remember that horrible car that Logan Echolls drove in season 1 and 2 of Veronica Mars? It was a neon yellow Xterra. (Or something. I know nothing about cars, but I can tell you that this one was ugly.) We never truly believed that Logan would drive such an ugly, cheesy car, and clearly the producers finally came to their senses and bestowed Logan with a normal looking SUV. (Either that, or Veronica Mars got a new sponsor. Which could be the case, since V now drives a Saturn SUV and not the beloved Chrysler LeBaron.) Anyway, I digress.

So Logan Echolls has a new car. But get this. I SAW HIS OLD ONE DRIVING AROUND THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES. (Not on it's own, obviously. There was a person behind the wheel, although I couldn't get a close look.) No, it wasn't another neon yellow Xterra, this one had to have been the actual car that Jason Dohring drove around as Logan Echolls. How do I know? Because it had a Veronica Mars bumper sticker on it, and it had a license plate bracket that said "Pirate Pride," and, well, because I live in Los Angeles, so the odds are pretty good that the car was given to a Veronica Mars staffer.

How cool is that? How strange is that? Here I was, driving home from work, and I see an ugly yellow Xterra which always makes me think of Logan (because yes, I have no life), and then I see all the Veronica Mars stuff and I realize that that probably is Logan's car. Either that or someone is more obsessed with this show than I am. Can that be??
