A growing and aging population that demands the best in healthcare is one of the major reasons for the boom in health care jobs worldwide.
As the U.S. Census Bureau reports today, the population of the U.S. will have reached 300 million. It is not known, however, whether the person representing this milestone will be a newborn or a new citizen crossing a U.S. border.
Based on the bureau's math that assumes a new person every 11 seconds, that milestone is estimated to be reached at 7:46 AM EDT today.
