On May 18, 2006 Dell's CEO Kevin Rollins announced while being interviewed by Maria Bartiromo on CNBC that Dell would use some AMD micro processors in some of its high end server products.
Intel's stock price dropped 1.55% the next day to $18.36 while AMD's stock price jumped about 12% or $3.60 to close on 3/19/06 at $34.95!
AMD has a PE or 43 while Intel's PE is only 14! The market seems to be pricing in Dell using more than just a few AMD chips in the future.
