You may remember them from their TRB album "Love and Mystery," recently reviewed by Suite. (Read here.) But Eustace sounds pretty different. They made the following announcement on their myspace:
We are four men out on a journey to create music that is exciting, different, and honest. We have just put up two NEW demos on our myspace for you to enjoy. We quickly recorded and mixed them both in one night at Austin's house. These are the first rough demos of our new EP to come later this year. What you will hear until then is the naked sound of a band wrestling for their place in music - we want you to be a part of the metamorphosis. Check in from time to time as we will be editing our demos, honing our sound, and posting it for you to hear the progress.
Eustace is a new project for us. We have been playing under a different name for about 18 months and have decided to move into somewhat different directions, both musically and lyrically. In case you were wondering, our name is inspired by a CS Lewis character.
Keep an eye peeled for their upcoming EP. Although that does sound somewhat painful.
