Tree63 Return to South Africa

TREE63 TOUR THE BELOVED COUNTRY

Award-winning and chart-topping local rockers Tree63 return to their homeland in March 2007 for their first tour of South Africa in over two years.

Tree63 relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in recent years to live the life of which so many outstanding SA artists only dream, and have been writing, recording and touring the world constantly for over 5 years. Over this time, the band has had numerous number 1 hits in the

USA and South Africa and have performed for thousands of fans as far-flung as Australia, Scotland, Canada and practically anywhere in the United States you may care to mention.

With the recent return of drummer Darryl Swart, Tree63 is currently riding a wave of critical praise of both the band's new material and their live shows. Says songwriter, vocalist and guitarist John Ellis: "We've had an exciting last couple of years, and it's great having

Darryl back - we're all playing really well and this particular chemistry is unbeatable for Tree63". Daniel Ornellas rounds out the 3-piece on bass guitar and backing vocals.

In the lead up to the live shows, one of Tree63's most well known hits, 'Treasure' off the '63' album, will see a fresh radio release in a brand new remixed version, a distinctly South African 'kwaito' flavour highlighting the bands love for their home country.

"We love and miss South Africa so much and can't wait to come home and see our families, friends and fans. We've been dying to play in South Africa for ages - it's going to be amazing', says Ellis.
