The Nativity Story: Sacred Songs

The compilation project will feature 13 songs from accomplished Christian and Country artists. Artists and songs appearing on the album include: Jaci Valasquez, Amy Grant, Natalie Grant, Selah, Kenny Rogers and Wynonna, Nicole C. Mullen, Mark Schultz, and BarlowGirl.

A brand new recording, "The Virgin's Lullaby," produced by Bernie Herms and performed by some of the top names in Christian music (Point Of Grace, Natalie Grant, David Phelps, Todd Smith and Allan Hall of Selah, Mike Weaver of Big Daddy Weave and Michael Farren of Pocket Full of Rocks), will be serviced to Christian and mainstream AC radio on Nov 3.

The film itself will chronicle the miraculous pregnancy and arduous journey of Mary and Joseph leading to the history-defining birth of Christ. The New Line Cinema major motion picture, “The Nativity Story” will open Dec. 1 on thousands of screens worldwide.

Word Distribution will additionally release “The Nativity Story: Original Score”, music composed by Michael Danna, to CBA retail Dec. 5.
