Successful Third Day Tour

The 40-city fall tour, featuring special guests the David Crowder Band, Hyper Static Union, Leeland and Charlie Hall showcased material from the band’s most recent studio project, "Wherever You Are." Together with a handful of shows revolving around the band’s first holiday effort "Christmas Offerings," the tours accomplished success not only for the band, but also for charitable organizations across the country.

Said David Huffman of Creative Trust Management, Third Day’s management company, “The Wherever You Are Tour averaged over 4,000 in attendance each night and overall had a great market response. Touring is a major team effort and we are thankful to all of the partners who worked hard for the results.” Third Day experienced sold-out shows in a number of markets in the fall, as well as significant fan and radio impact throughout the schedule. Fans also supported the band’s humanitarian efforts in record numbers, as Third Day’s “dollar-per-ticket” campaign raised significant funds for the charities they support.

“We are so grateful to the fans and promoters who raised over $125,000 for Operation Christmas Child, Invisible Children and Blood:Water Mission,” Huffman said. In addition, more than 700 World Vision Hope Children and 700 Children of War sponsorships were enacted, and together with longtime promotional partner Chevrolet, Third Day created the ‘Thanks and Giving Drives’ charity events, teaming with local radio stations and charities in seven southeastern markets to bring help and hope to those in need, and to give away an all new 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.
