Portable Sounds Scores High

Coming off of his two RIAA Gold Certified studio projects, Portable Sounds debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart at No. 10 and No. 1 on SoundScan Contemporary Christian Overall chart, marking this his highest solo career debut. During street week, Portable Sounds broke into the Top 10 overall albums on iTunes and holds strong this week in the Top 15, as well as the No. 1 Christian Album. Prior to street week, TobyMac’s retail single “Made to Love” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Singles chart and remains in the Top 5.

"For me, Portable sounds was a labor of love, the rest is a great plan and a passionate team coming together and rockin' it,” states TobyMac. “It's always an honor to know that people connect with your music.”

Fans will get a live taste of the February 20th release from TobyMac on the upcoming “Portable Sounds” tour starting March 15, 2007. The upcoming tour will also be featuring the hot line-up of Thousand Foot Krutch, Building 429, and Family Force 5.
