Needtobreathe In World Series

Nope, not at home plate, but still. That’s who you’ll hear in the game between the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals. And that’s not the only recent sports highlight for Needtobreathe.

The South Carolina-based quartet got to meet renowned wrestler and reality TV star Hulk Hogan during a music festival in their home state just before taking the stage at Littlejohn Coliseum. In fact, Hogan introduced the band to the crowd. “Hulk is probably the single biggest celebrity (referring to both the amount of fame he wields and his actual physical mass) we’ve ever met,” the band said on a MySpace post. A lot of people are excited to meet Needtobreathe these days as well. The band’s first album, “Daylight,” opened to rave reviews this past spring, landing NTB high up the charts with the hit single, “You Are Here.”
