Michele Pillar Release

Michele Pillar's appearances on Tuesday, November 28th include: WZTV's Tennessee Mornings TV program with hosts Charlie Chase and Kelly Sutton. TN Mornings airs on the Nashville FOX affiliate, FOX 17 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

WJXA's Mix 92.9 Morning Show with Rick Marino, Anna Marie Ritter and Clint Redwine. The Mix 92.9 Morning Show airs from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

WVNS 102.5 FM with Lulu & Trish at 3:20 PM and re-airing during the 6:00 PM hour.

On Wednesday, November 29th, Michele Pillar will be interviewed on Today's Christian Music with Doug & Kim from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Michele Pillar recently interviewed with Brian Mason on The Brian Mason Show, which airs Sunday mornings on WJXA from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Surrounded by world-class musicians, including husband, world renowned jazz guitarist Larry Carlton, "I Hear Angels Calling" showcases Michele Pillar as a songwriter in her own right, having co-written 2 original Christmas songs out of the 10 holiday favorites with heavyweights that include Nathan East, (bassist for Lionel Richie, Kenny Loggins and Eric Clapton), and Jeff Babko, music director for Jimmy Kimmel.

The first single, "Song of Mary (Holy Is The Lord)" is currently being serviced to Christian AC and INSPO Radio formats. And the title track, "I Hear Angels Calling" is receiving favorable response from mainstream AC Radio stations.

Before stepping away from the spotlight, Michele Pillar had earned a place at the top of the charts, well known for her compelling voice and passion for spreading the gospel. A three-time Grammy nominee, she released five acclaimed albums including "The Misfit," a Maranatha! Music groundbreaking collection with Erick Nelson, and "Look Who Loves You Now," with a title track that currently holds the record for the longest running No. 1 single in Christian radio history.

Michele Pillar is currently writing new songs for a solo album to be released in 2007. Among the collaborators she's working with are the legendary Mike Reid, Nathan East, BeBe Winans, Allen Shamblin and Chris Eaton.

Michele Pillar has spent the last 10 years working behind the scenes for ministries including The Nashville Chapter of The Salvation Army. She founded Closer to Home, a Not-For-Profit Organization that anonymously helps people in need.
