Lindsey Kane's Campaign

Lindsey Kane's Campaign focuses on spreading the word to young women regarding how God perceives and measures true beauty rather than society’s perception. Kane has a goal of reaching 1 million girls through her MySpace.com page, which is already off to an amazing start after launching two months ago in September.

The idea was birthed after thinking about how she could use MySpace.com for the glory of God and reach out to the 100 plus million subscribers to the site. She noticed that there was intense emphasis on the outward appearance on the site and she wanted to do something to share with girls regarding how God measures beauty.

“So many girls in today's society are bombarded with lies about beauty and image. The media tells us that we are not pretty enough, thin enough, or good enough. I want to give as many girls as possible the opportunity to hear some encouraging truth,” shares Kane. “Whether you are male or female we all need to be reminded of how beautiful God has made us.”

Kane has provided several resources on her MySpace.com page, such as a free download of her song “Measure of Beauty,” a devotional blog, video and various other means to enable fans to share this message with their friends through their own MySpace.com page or websites. “I'm humbled that God would choose me and this site to share His truth,” shares Kane. “Just like my ministry, this campaign exists to bring glory to God and passion to people, specifically in the area of beauty and image.”
