Greg Sczebel TV Appearance

Okanagan artist Greg Sczebel will appear on “Paul Brandt’s Christmas in Banff”airing throughout the month of December. Along with some traditional favourites, Sczebel showcases his new Christmas single “One Starry Night”, a song he recently recorded and released on his websites, www.gregsczebel.com and www.myspace.com/gregsczebel. Sczebel is giving his fans the opportunity to download a free MP3 of the song during the month of December as a Christmas gift. The single is also being released to Adult Contemporary, Country and Christian music stations across Canada.

His unique blend of pop, jazz, soul and funk has quickly gained Sczebel recognition and admiration with music fans and industry professionals alike. He has performed with Grammy Award-winning Producer David Foster, Jazz sensation Michael Buble, Colin James and more. Greg has repeatedly won at Canadian music award shows, picking up a Juno Award, a Western Canadian Music Award, an Urban Music Award nomination, and Okanagan Music Awards along with numerous others.

He has received widespread recognition as a songwriter as a grand prize winner in the esteemed John Lennon International Songwriting Contest for his album’s title track, “Here to Stay” And once again as a finalist in the R & B category for his song “You’ve Got It”

Since recently completing a nationwide tour with acclaimed singer/songwriter Carolyn Arrends. Sczebel will be heading back into the studio once again to complete his upcoming record, set for release in 2007.
