DecembeRadio Nod

The Christian rock band is nominated in Category 53-Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album for their debut, self-titled release, produced by Scotty Wilbanks, which hit shelves last summer.

Named one of the ten acts to watch for 2006 by BILLBOARD Magazine and voted Breakout Band of the Year at the Rock Summit radio event, DecembeRadio, of Blacksburg, VA, has been gaining momentum among fans and earning respect among industry representatives for the past year, evidenced by this first big nod of approval from The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc. (NARAS).

"We couldn't have done this without the support of our label and our team," stated band member Eric Miker. "This is one of the pinnacles of what we hoped to achieve during our career, and we didn't expect to reach this on the first album. We are blown away, humbled and honored."

The band's current single "Drifter" climbed to #3 this week on the CHR radio charts (R&R) while climbing to #22 at AC radio. Their current rock single, "Dangerous," jumped to #20 on the CRW chart and to #23 on R&R's listing.
