The project contains a mix of Chambers own songs and a few by today's classic Christian writers, Chris Tomlin, Glenn Packiam, and Darlene Zschech. It is Zschech who comes closest to Chambers own style, although his vocals are a bit more raw, which I enjoy. Ron Kenoly also comes to mind, because Chambers, like Kenoly, is having a good time, and it shows.
Chambers comes out strong in the guitar-driven opener "So Good," coaxing his listeners out into the waters of worship. By the time you get to the third track, "Rejoice," you have to be up on your feet. "Rejoice" is a dance party worship session, complete with a mid-song hip-hop solo. Like I said, he's having fun. Most of these songs are upbeat energetic pop tunes with strong Scriptural truths. My favorite of these is the rockin' "Immersed," and the title track follows closely. Another standout track is the tender piano ballad, "Raptured," rendered beautifully by Chambers. All in all, a nice worship experience, along the lines of Integrity worship.
