Beth Moore's Songs of Deliverance

The music project is an extension of her forthcoming book, “Get Out of That Pit—Straight Talk About God’s Deliverance,” (Integrity Publishers/Thomas Nelson) and includes songs by some of today’s best Christian recording artists.

"Beth Moore Presents: Song of Deliverance" highlights well-known Christian artists who have been touched by Beth Moore’s ministry. The album includes familiar songs from Amy Grant, CeCe Winans, Steven Curtis Chapman and Wynonna as well as new tracks by “American Idol” finalist Mandisa, Sara Groves, and Travis Cottrell, who also produced the new content. Each song reflects key themes of Moore’s impending book, “Get Out of That Pit” which releases simultaneously with the record in January.

“I know what it’s like to be so sick at heart and so compulsive of mind that you fight absorbing the words you need to hear most,” says Moore. “But somehow, when some of those same words are swept up in music, your defenses go down and the truth can get in. That is my prayer for this offering. My deep desire is that these songs will soften your heart until the message of deliverance makes its way into the deepest recesses where motivations we don’t even understand tend to lurk.”
