Nursery Rhymes about Space

Have you already picked out a celestial name for your baby-to-be? Then before your "star is born," you need to brush up on your astronomy-related nursery rhymes.

***************

The Man in the Moon came tumbling down

and asked the way to Norwich;

He went by the south and burnt his mouth

with eating cold pease porridge.

***************

Twinkle, twinkle, little star

how I wonder what you are.

Up above the world so high,

like a diamond in the sky.

Twinkle, twinkle little star

how I wonder what you are.

***************

The man in the moon

looked out of the moon

and this is what he said:

Tis time for all the children on Earth

to think about going to bed.

***************

Hey Diddle Diddle

the cat and the fiddle

the cow jumped over the moon;

the little dog laughed to see such sport

and the dish ran away with the spoon.

***************

I see the moon

and the moon sees me.

God bless the moon

and God bless me.

***************

Star light, star bright

first star I see tonight

Wish I may, Wish I might,

have the wish I wish tonight.
