Hot Family Travel Deals

This week, there are some great deals and bargains that are perfect for family travels and vacations, including an airfare sale, hot car rental deal and hotel bargains.

The budget deals include:

• United Airlines has a Spring is in the Air fare sale. Purchase by April 21, and fly by June 8. The deadline makes it tough for a major family vacation, but ideal for a long weekend getaway, reported on Travelzoo. (Also see my tips on flying with baby.)

• Expedia has another fare sale, with purchase by April 21 and flight by June 7. Fares are as low as $83.
• If you're only driving one-way, take advantage of these many deals for renting cars, minivans and even RVs for one-way travel.
