I'm now expanding the column to include book reviews of physics books. Most of these will be lay books, suitable for every reader. Recent years have seen an upsurge in great science writing, but many books still remain undiscovered by most people. I think that part of the reason is that most people feel intimidated by books on physics - after attempting the first two pages of the fad bestseller "A Brief History of Time" most people who had an interest gave up. But there are lot better books out there now! We'll take a look at the best.
