We have arrived in Antwerp, Belgium, for our visit to family and friends. It is also the first time we introduce our daughter to her grandparents on my side! We are staying in Europe for three weeks, one of which will be spent in Florence, Italy.
As usual, we brought lovely weather to a country that was otherwise windswept and rainy, rainy, rainy before we arrived(the usual). We're also quite jetlagged.
The trip over (a 9 hour flight) was surprisingly smooth: our daughter slept most of the time, on both planes. Getting back into a reasonable daily routine of napping, eating, and sleeping, though, has proven more difficult. I'm sure that by the time we have to go back to Boston, we'll all be adjusted to the Belgian time zone.
Next: Flemish comfort food!
