In a promotion for its “LongHorn Lowdown” mailing list, the LongHorn Steakhouse chain of restaurants is offering a free appetizer offer to diners who sign up at the promotional Web site.

The LongHorn Steakhouse coupon comes via email to those who sign up to receive the email newsletter. The maximum value for the coupon is $7.95 and is available to U.S. residents only. The coupon must be redeemed within two weeks of receiving it (your coupon will include an individual expiration date). Dinner appetizer options include wild west shrimp, Texas cheese fries, boneless buffalo wings, LongHorn shrimp and lobster dip, firecracker chicken wraps, Texas chili, a battered and fried onion dubbed a “Texas Tonion,” and a soup of the day.

LongHorn Steakhouse is a family-friendly restaurant with locations in 25 states in the Midwest and East Coast as well as Puerto Rico. The kids’ menu features the standard chicken tenders, grilled cheese and hot dog options, but also offers a kids’ sirloin meal for $5.99. All kids’ meals at Longhorn Steakhouse are served with fresh fruit, a drink and seasoned French Fries.
