Chili’s Ribs Special

Chili’s calls this deal the “Baby Back Bonus.” For $10.99, diners get a half rack of baby back ribs with a choice of the following sauces: classic BBQ, honey chipotle, brown sugar chile rub, Memphis dry rub, or blazin’ habenero. You also get homestyle fries, a side salad, and choice of dessert. Chili’s doesn’t usually sell half racks as an entrée, but a half rack of ribs added to another entrée costs $5.49 without the special, according to the menu on their Web site.

Dessert options include molten chocolate cake, chocolate chip paradise pie, cheesecake, frosty chocolate shake, and a concoction called a “sweet shot.” These menu items normally run from $1.99 to $5.69.

If you’re counting calories and fat, consider this deal an infrequent indulgence. According to Chili’s nutritional information on its Web site, a half rack of ribs with traditional BBQ sauce contains 485 calories and 33 fat grams. The molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream adds on 1,270 calories and 62 fat grams.

This deal runs for a limited time.
