Entertainment Books provide residents of more than 150 cities and regions throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada with local coupons for a host of merchants.
The 2007 edition of Entertainment Books are now available online for $9.99, a big savings over the regular price, which ranges between $15 and $47 depending on the location. Of course, users have less time to redeem the coupons and deals on the Entertainment Books now that 2007 is half over, but there is still time to save since most coupons won’t expire until Nov. 1, 2007.
As of early summer, most of the 2007 edition of the Entertainment Books are still available for cities ranging from Atlanta, Ga., to Youngstown, Ohio.
For a sample of savings deals, thumb through the Atlanta Entertainment Book, which contains a coupon for half-priced admission to Zoo Atlanta, an offer for a free Subway sandwich and drink (with the purchase of another sandwich and drink), and a coupon for 20-percent off the total bill at Chopstix Restaurant.
Entertainment Books can also save frugal families on purchases that have little to do with “entertainment,” but much to do with peace of mind. The Atlanta Entertainment Book, for example, has deals on tires, transmission service and car washes.
Shipping and handling costs $4.95 for the book. Another promotion offers the 2007 Entertainment Book free (shipping is extra) when you reserve the 2008 Entertainment Book for the full retail price (between $25 and $45, depending on the edition). There’s a catch: reserving the 2008 book places you on a schedule to receive all subsequent yearly editions unless you cancel. A $5 fee incurs when you cancel within the first year.
