I have been approached recently by quite a few sellers asking about the lack of offers and showings on their homes. My response is as reassuring as I can be in a changing market.
In my area, the market has seen a significant drop in buyer activity. So offers are fewer and less frequent. There are fewer showings, and buyers are being more selective about the homes they want to buy.
This means that you need to be committed to your price and be patient, or you need to start dropping your price to encourage offers and activity on your home.
In my experience, buyers find this process frustrating and discouraging. All I can suggest is to take special care with the showings that you do have. Make sure that the lights are on, there is music in the background and that your home is clean and in good repair.
