After the Civil War

Next week we will end our examination of the deconstruction of Indian Territory and, in subsequent weeks, begIn to explore more postive topics. However, I feel that it is important to give the current topic the proper attention so that the reader will gain a detailed understanding of the trail of broken promises made by America towards its native population. My next article will look at the final insult, the creation of the state of Oklahoma and the scattering of the five tribes.
