Industrial Archeology at the West Point Foundry

I know this, because I personally attended it in the Summer of 2003. It is a fascinating site. The huge old brick industrial buildings have collapsed, but there are underground brick water tunnels, remains of blast furnaces, a huge old series of dams and water batteries, and much more.

A friendly hello to everyone from MTU if you guys read this. It's a great site, and as far as I know there is still an ongoing project there.

Industrial Archeology can make a valuable contribution to Historical knowledge, and there is much still to learn from what remains at West Point Foundry.
