Girls Learn to Ride Expands

This one’s for the girls…

Over the weekend I came across an announcement about a new website and new online magazine for girls and women who participate in action sports.

This fall GirlsLearnToRide will launch an online magazine dedicated to covering girl’s action sports news and information. Girls Learn to Ride is also introducing a new website, Women Learn to Ride, which is being created for women over the age of 21 who are involved in action sports.

The focus of both Girls Learn to Ride and Women Learn to Ride is to “encourage women to participate in new sports and/or expand their existing skills”. Both sites will cover the sports of surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, motocross, wakeboarding, BMX and mountain biking.

I couldn’t find a firm launch date for either the new website or online mag; both are scheduled to go live this fall. I’ll let you know as I hear more or you can check the Girls Learn to Ride website for more information.
