2006 Dew Action Sports Tour

The 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour wrapped up its final leg in Orlando over the weekend. The action is over for the year and the Dew Cups have been handed out. In case you missed the action and final results here is a brief recap of the winners.

Daniel Dhers was definitely ready to compete this year in BMX Park. He started the season on a high note, maintained a strong presence throughout to tour and earned his first Dew Cup. In BMX Dirt, Anthony Napolitan (who finished last in '05) claimed the Cup and Jamie Bestwick won for BMX Vert. Don't forget, Jamie is the guy who just had neck surgery in May!

In skateboard, Bucky Lasek pulled ahead to claim the win in Vert and 16 year-old Ryan Sheckler took his second Dew Cup in the Park comp.

Nate Adams has been a consistent competitor in FMX. Although he placed 3rd in the final stop of the tour, his cumulative points were over 100 points more than the next rider, earning Nate the '06 Dew Cup in FMX.

Keep you eye out for highlights in case you missed them. A little hint for those who don't know: some cable companies have the Dew Action Sports Tour with their "on Demand" systems. It's great when you want to watch your favorite comp again, or break down one your favorite tricks.
