OK, you have left it late but there's still hope.
Depending upon your city, there are some possibilities for good online shopping and in person last-minute shopping without the Christmas shopping crowds.
In Calgary the AIRPORT shopping is great. Check out your local airport scene if that seems at all reasonable. Heathrow - out of the question. San Francisco maybe (nice uncrowded airport, but do they have very many stores?) and Copenhagen would be fantastic if you are lucky enough to be there. LAX (Los Angeles International) - hate it any day of the week.
I just came from a garden centre, the second one I've visited this week - not busy at all & lots of things to choose from. Plants, seeds, tools but also pet supplies, pet food & treats, Christmas ornaments, bird seed and feeders.
University book stores, hospital gift shops, larger car dealerships (some of them sell branded souvenirs, e.g. a Ford coffee cup), and that old stand-by the drug store, all have something to offer and are typically less crowded than the horrendous malls are today.
Good luck and, no matter what, do have fun this Christmas and holiday season ;-)
