Usually, only faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a temple recommend can go inside the Mormon temple. But when a new temple is built, it opens its doors to the public first for an open house.
The Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple open house is going on, Mondays through Saturdays from June 1 to August 1. The interior tour is free of charge, but does require a reservation in advance by calling 1-800-521-5105.
The address, pictures, and construction information for the Oquirrh Mountain temple is located here.

For members of the LDS church, a total of 9 dedicatory sessions will be held over the weekend of August 21-13. The temple will open for ordinances on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.
