Stay tuned for an article about maintaining a sense of humor during bouts of neurological illness. It's important to try and relax and keep a positive attitude, which can involve some laughing. Although chronic neurological illness is no way a laughing matter, finding humorous things to divert your attention can make your situation much better. Learn some methods for finding humor in everyday situations, through comedy performances, and with other people. Laughter is a great remedy to maintain a good immune system, keep your sanity, and better enjoy the life you've got.
When I'm sick, I'm sure I'll never laugh again, but I now know there are a lot of situations outside of myself that are humorous and uplifting.
