Huntington's Survivor Aftermath

When I blogged about a woman named Barbara last spring, I reported her overall health as being very shaky. She was fighting Huntington's Disease with spirit and never missing a chance to participate in a yearly storytelling festival in Tennessee. Since that time, Barbara has passed away, leaving her family very sad in her absence. This month, my parents again went to the storytelling festival in Jonesboro,Tennessee, and all the friends that Barbara had down there planted a tree in her memory! Although she is greatly missed by family and friends, her memory lives on and her zest for living will not be forgotten.
