This week I'm writing an article about medications for Parkinson's disease. During the month of June, Parkinson's disease is being spotlighted and one key factor in the slowing of this disease is effective medication. Levodopa and carbidopa are the main drugs used to slow the progress of Parkinson's. They produce and maintain appropriate levels of dopamine in patients' brains, thereby keeping patients mobile and active longer.
