Is Your House Haunted?

One explanation is that when a person dies suddenly (as a result of natural causes or due to violence), they may not be aware that they are dead. In this case, a medium is needed to communicate with them and to tell them that they can, in fact, go on to the Other Side. Other spirits are so attached to a place that they stay on even after death.

Here are some signs that you could be sharing your home with a spirit:

• Cold spots

• Power disruptions where lights and devices switch off and on

• Items disappearing and then reappearing in the same spot some time later

• Strange behavior from your pets

• Odd aromas (flowers, perfume, tobacco products)

Please keep in mind that all of the foregoing have other explanations and the presence of one or more of these phenomena in your home does not necessarily mean that the house is haunted. Most of the time there is a perfectly logical explanation and those possibilities must be investigated and ruled out before one can start looking to the paranormal for answers.
