Researchers from the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization recently spent four days in the Hot Springs area of North Carolina looking for signs of this elusive animal. Two days into the expedition, noises were heard that have been attributed to Bigfoot.
Several reports of sightings near the Appalachian Trail have been reported over the years, leading some to speculate that the Trail is being used by these creatures.
It is thought by some researchers that there is more than one type of Sasquatch: the one living on the west coast measures between 7-12 feet in height and weighs in the range of 800-900 lbs. The east coast version is much smaller, standing 4-6 feet tall and weighing 200-250 lbs.
