Chocolate - hot chocolate at LA Burdick is legendary for a reason. It's that good. Then there's the new upstart Taza which is fair trade, hand roasted etc. try the Mexican for your mole pleasure.

Cannele are unique French pastry that are made in special molds and coated with edible beeswax. Amazing nutty flavor.

Richart is the maker of our wedding favors and also the producer of some of the finest chocolates. Artisanal little hand painted cubes in architectural boxes. Flavors that include roasted, balsamic, fruity, and floral. They even do a made to order burlwood chocolate vault. It was on my luxe gift list last year.

Ooh, gift lists. Better get cracking!
