As the new Feature Writer for the Science/Tech Books section, I just wanted to introduce myself and talk a bit about the future of the section.
I am a science fan, not a scientist. As a fan, I approach science from a variety of interest areas, including physics, anthropology, cosmology, evolutionary biology, paleontology and astronomy. My enthusiasm for these subjects outweighs my expertise, which has turned me into an avid reader of books on these and other subjects.
While I have a reading list in mind for books to review on Suite101, I would welcome suggestions from fellow science enthusiasts for material that would make suitable reading for review.
I would also love to have the opportunity to interview scientists and/or science writers for the site, so if any readers out there have connections to anyone of that variety, please don't hesitate to contact me!
I welcome and encourage everyone's suggestions, comments and criticisms.
