In case you haven't heard, a new search engine was released this week. Cuil, pronounced "cool", launched earlier in the week, giving Google a run for their money.
Although there are numerous search engines available today, Cuil has an interesting history. Several of Cuil's team members actually helped develop the super-popular Google search engine! They know their search engines!

The founder of the company happens to be Irish and the name Cuil is actually a Gaelic word that means knowledge and hazel.
